Commercial Construction Manager Join a respected regional builder with 60+ years of success. Lead high-impact commercial projects from day one. Job Description Serve as the primary on-site leader overseeing day-to-day construction operations. Manage project schedules, subcontractors, inspections, and quality control from start to completion. Oversee both ground-up and interior commercial construction projects under $25M. Coordinate and enforce safety protocols, site documentation, and compliance standards. Collaborate closely with project management, engineering, and design teams to maintain timelines and budgets. Provide consistent reporting on progress, challenges, and site needs. Uphold high standards of craftsmanship and ensure work meets company quality expectations. The Successful Applicant A successful Construction Manager should have: 3-10 years of superintendent experience. Previous experience leading commercial projects independently. Background in interiors and/or ground-up commercial builds preferred. Experience with restaurant, retail, senior living, or public/municipal projects is a plus. OSHA 10 certification required. Proficiency in MS Office; MS Project experience preferred. Must be located within commuting distance of Frederick, MD. Ability to work full-time on job sites located roughly 1 hour from HQ.
