Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take the wheel of a versatile fleet designed to deliver excellence! In this energetic role, you'll be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to transport freight across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, efficient load & unload operations, and adherence to all safety regulations. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks across assigned routes. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations. Manage route driving responsibilities with a focus on punctuality and safety, navigating urban and rural areas confidently. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit, especially when hauling specialized loads like refrigerated or flatbed freight. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered on the road. Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight handling and route driving. Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not required. Familiarity with operating specialized trucks such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload freight safely using equipment like forklifts or manual methods. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial trucking.
