Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Truck Driver with minimum 2 years of driving experience to join our transportation team with clean MVR history for 2 years. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to deliver freight across various destinations routes, ensuring timely and secure deliveries. Your expertise in handling —including refrigerated and box trailers — This position offers an opportunity to showcase your driving while contributing to the seamless movement of goods between nebraska & Iowa. Select candidates will be required to depart twice a week at 4 am and remaining days 8 am to 6 pm. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and safety-minimum 2 day a week. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Plan efficient routes for timely deliveries while managing route driving responsibilities effectively. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in compliance with federal and state regulations. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Requirements Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial driving, including route driving and delivery operations. Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently. Knowledge of load securing procedures and freight handling techniques. Familiarity with pallet jack operation is a plus for loading/unloading freight efficiently twice a week. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to truck driving and freight transportation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.
