Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries across diverse routes, including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers with automatic transmissions, ensuring compliance with all federal and state driving regulations. Drive on designated routes, managing delivery schedules efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols. Handle specialized trailers such as refrigerated trailers and van trailers to transport diverse freight types. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before and after each trip. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments as needed. Pass a drug test and we hire felons No at-fault accidents in the last 365 days Skills Proven experience (1+ year) in truck driving with a valid CDL A license; familiarity with automatic transmission. Strong knowledge of route driving, load securing techniques, and freight handling procedures across various truck types. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, van trailers, and other specialized trucking equipment.
