Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. You will handle a variety of cargo types, including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and specialized equipment such as dump trucks and roll-off trucks. Your expertise in driving and load management will contribute directly to our operational success and customer satisfaction. Duties 2 year experience Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Transport a diverse range of freight including refrigerated items, flatbed loads, tankers, and other specialized trailers like dump trucks or roll-off trucks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, tires, lights, and securing cargo properly. Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while maintaining compliance with hours-of-service regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation in accordance with DOT standards. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries while providing exceptional service. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Experience operating manual transmission trucks preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of freight handling procedures including load securing and weight distribution. Familiarity with route driving strategies to ensure timely deliveries across multiple destinations. Strong safety awareness and commitment to following all DOT regulations and company policies.
