Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in truck driving, route management, and load handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Load and unload freight efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive assigned routes with precision, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations to ensure on-time deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Manage documentation related to deliveries, including delivery manifests, load sheets, and route logs. Maintain communication with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries smoothly. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with endorsements suitable for operating various vehicle types such as flatbed, refrigerated trailer, tanker, or dump truck. Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles comfortably. Experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and securing cargo safely. Familiarity with specialized equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks is a plus. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
