Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver-Class A and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across diverse routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and more. Your expertise will ensure timely delivery, proper load handling, and exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmission across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and security Drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver goods efficiently Manage route driving responsibilities with precision to meet delivery schedules while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, report any issues promptly, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for all shipments transported Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, route changes, or any incidents encountered during trips Skills Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class A CDL license Familiarity with manual transmission truck operation and various truck types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Strong knowledge of freight handling procedures including load & unload processes Experience with route driving in diverse environments and managing delivery schedules efficiently Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts safely when loading or unloading cargo Good driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations Physical ability to handle heavy loads and perform vehicle inspections as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a tangible difference!
