Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and responsible Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and reliably. Your expertise in commercial driving, route management, and vehicle handling will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Safely load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary. Drive assigned routes efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations while ensuring on-time deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery receipts for compliance purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Assist with securing cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL license, including expertise in manual transmission vehicles. Knowledge of various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, load securement, and route management. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when required. Familiarity with freight handling procedures across different trailer types and cargo specifications. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers.
