WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The Commercial Forecasting Business Partner at Guerbet plays a crucial role in the supply chain, responsible for forecasting product demand to ensure optimal inventory levels and efficient production planning. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with various departments to support business objectives and customer satisfaction. YOUR ROLE Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for Guerbet products using historical sales data, market trends, and statistical tools. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to gather relevant information and insights impacting demand. Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend adjustments to improve performance and minimize stock-outs or excess inventory. Analyze inventory levels and coordinate with production planning to ensure supply meets demand while optimizing costs. Identify risks and opportunities in the demand plan and propose proactive solutions. Prepare regular reports and presentations on demand trends, forecast performance, and key metrics for management review. Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and support cross-functional initiatives. Maintain master data relevant to demand planning in ERP systems. YOUR BACKGROUND Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. Proficiency in forecasting software and ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and inter-personnel skills for effective collaboration.
