Job DescriptionJob Description Commercial HVAC Estimator Vander Hyde Mechanical – Grand Rapids, MI Pay: $75,000 – $110,000+ per year (based on experience) Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Job Summary Vander Hyde Mechanical is seeking to add an experienced Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in commercial HVAC systems and estimating. You will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates, developing competitive bids, and supporting project success from preconstruction through completion. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Develop and submit proposals and bid packages Collaborate with project managers and internal teams Track project costs and improve estimating accuracy Maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients Qualifications Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC field experience Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and construction processes Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Strong communication and organizational skills Valid driver's license with insurable driving record Benefits Health insurance (FREE employee option available) Dental and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off (PTO) + paid holidays Company vehicle and phone Why Work at Vander Hyde?
