Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Janitorial Cleaner to join our dynamic facilities maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial spaces, including offices, retail stores, industrial facilities, and other business environments. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct specialized floor care tasks such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve flooring integrity and appearance. Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to ensure optimal results. Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and common areas by sanitizing surfaces and replenishing supplies. Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance as needed. Follow established safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution. Qualifications Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and the use of cleaning equipment such as buffers and scrubbers. Experience with residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required. Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and climbing ladders when necessary.
