Job Description
Pay Range: $24.00 – $31.25 per hour (DOE) Job Type: Contract-to-Hire Location: Sandy Springs, GA 30328 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch) Position Summary The Property Administrator supports the daily operations of a commercial property, including administrative functions, tenant relations, and financial coordination. This role partners closely with property management to ensure efficient operations, accurate reporting, and a high level of tenant service. Key Responsibilities Leasing & Tenant Relations Assist with new leases and renewals, including preparation of commencement letters Track and maintain lease data, including expirations and renewals Prepare welcome letters and support tenant move-ins Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs Maintain tenant directory and records (insurance certificates, security deposits, parking permits) Respond to tenant inquiries and manage incoming calls Operations & Administrative Support Manage front office operations, including supplies, scheduling, and organization Receive maintenance requests and coordinate with maintenance teams Maintain property documentation, reports, and inspection records Process and track work orders (e.g., Angus or similar systems) Maintain building information such as white books and executive summaries Support special projects and additional operational tasks as assigned Financial & Reporting Support Support collections and delinquency follow-up efforts Code invoices, allocate expenses, and assist with reconciliations Reconcile tenant services and assist with bill-backs Review and process tenant statements Assist with financial reporting, variance tracking, and budget-related tasks Create reports using Excel and/or PowerPoint Systems & Data Management Ensure accuracy of data in Yardi or similar property management systems Maintain vendor records and coordinate with vendors as needed Qualifications Prior experience in commercial property management preferred Exposure to accounting or financial processes strongly preferred Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required) Experience with Yardi or similar systems is a plus Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred BG Staffing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
