LHH is assisting a highly regarded AmLaw 200 law firm in its search for a Commercial Real Estate Associate to join its Newark, New Jersey office . This role sits within a well‑established real estate practice that advises institutional lenders, developers, and investors on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. The associate will work closely with partners and senior attorneys on a broad range of transactional matters and will have direct exposure to complex deal execution and client interaction. The Opportunity Attorneys in this group regularly handle: Complex commercial real estate finance transactions Acquisitions and dispositions of commercial properties Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial loan documents Reviewing and analyzing title and survey matters Conducting loan due diligence and coordinating closing requirements Compensation & Benefits Snapshot Base salary range: $175,000 to $185,000 annually, depending on experience Competitive law firm benefits package including health coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, CLE and bar dues support Candidate Requirements At least 3 years of law firm experience handling commercial real estate transactions Strong drafting, review, and negotiation skills for loan and transaction documents Experience reviewing title, survey, and due diligence materials Active New Jersey Bar admission required , New York Bar admission is a plus JD from an accredited law school If you are a commercial real estate attorney seeking high‑quality work, strong mentorship, and long‑term growth within a respected AmLaw firm, we encourage you to apply directly to this posting.
