Job Overview We are seeking a Commercial Service Labor Coordinator to support scheduling, labor tracking, and workforce coordination for commercial mechanical service operations.This role serves as the primary coordination point between service technicians, dispatch, service management, payroll, and operations leadership to ensure accurate labor deployment, timekeeping, and technician utilization.This position does not include estimating, project management, or sales responsibilities.The focus is on labor coordination, scheduling support, and service operations reporting.Key Responsibilities Support daily and weekly scheduling of commercial service technicians Track technician assignments, job changes, call-backs, and reassignments Monitor technician availability, PTO, training days, and absences Review and validate technician time entries for accuracy and job coding Coordinate timekeeping corrections with technicians, supervisors, and payroll Ensure labor hours are properly coded to service work orders and maintenance agreements Assist with tracking overtime, after-hours work, and on-call labor Maintain accurate labor data in service management and ERP systems Provide labor utilization and workforce reports to service leadership Communicate schedule changes and coverage needs promptly Support onboarding setup for new service technicians Maintain organized labor and scheduling records Support compliance with labor policies and overtime guidelines Required Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting commercial mechanical service operations (HVAC, plumbing, piping, or controls) Strong scheduling, coordination, and time-management skills High attention to detail and data accuracy Ability to manage frequent schedule changes in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with scheduling, dispatch, or timekeeping systems Strong communication skills with field and office teams Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate degree or related coursework preferred 2-4 years of experience in service coordination, dispatch, labor coordination, or construction administration preferred Why Work at Addison Smith?
