Position Summary Universal Renewables is seeking an experienced, execution driven Commercial Solar Installer to lead on-site construction activities from mobilization planning to final completion. The installer will coordinate with field crews, create and manage project schedules, oversee quality and safety, and ensure all commercial solar projects meet deadlines and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Field Work Participate day-to-day operations for commercial rooftop solar installations. Work closely with construction crews and lead them on-site to ensure efficient and high-quality work. Read and interpret construction drawings, single-line diagrams, string diagrams, and electrical blueprints. Racking system installation, Optimizer installation, Wire management, Homeruns and Conduit routing to inverters Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in commercial solar installation. Strong ability to create and manage project schedules using Excel (Gantt charts, timelines, labor plans, material schedules). Ability to use the company CRM ,Excel for project tracking, task assignment, timelines, and reporting. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and electrical diagrams. OSHA 30 or 40 certification NABCEP PV Installation Professional or PV Associate certification preferred. Experience with commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, metal). Experience managing subcontractors and interacting with general contractors. Forklift or boom lift operation certification. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly. Ability to work on rooftops, climb ladders, and stand/walk for extended periods. Comfortable working in varied outdoor weather conditions. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary (typical market range $45,000–$50,000 based on experience). Car/mileage reimbursement for job-site travel. Dental, and vision coverage.
