Who you are Strong background in finance, commercial strategy, or performance marketing analytics Proven experience with CPA models, reconciliation processes, and cost analysis Advanced proficiency in financial modelling (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools) Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and accountability Experience in high-growth, digital, or performance-driven businesses Familiarity with attribution models and marketing performance metrics Knowledge of finance systems, BI tools, or SQL What the job involves The Commercial Strategist / CPA Lead is responsible for driving financial performance through strategic oversight of cost models, CPA (Cost Per Acquisition) efficiency, and financial operations This role sits at the intersection of finance, commercial strategy, and operational execution, ensuring accurate reconciliation processes and scalable cost frameworks that support growth Partner with finance, marketing, and operations teams to optimise cost, revenue and margin performance Translate financial data into actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making Own CPA performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in acquisition efficiency Design, implement, and maintain robust reconciliation processes across multiple revenue streams Develop and manage chargeback models, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and scalability Investigate discrepancies and implement controls to minimise financial risk Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Build and maintain detailed cost tracking systems across channels, products, or campaigns Develop financial models to forecast spend, ROI, and profitability Analyse cost drivers and identify opportunities for optimisation and efficiency gains Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
