Commissary Clerk

Ability to perform a variety of commissary functions within the Haysi location of the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail system.While performing these actions, all facility policies and procedures must be followed.Ability to respond to inmates concerns in writing.Ability to process orders, hand key orders, issue credits as well as record keeping of signed receipts.Applicant must be able to deliver orders to inmates in a timely manner.Position Requirements: Computer Literate - Highly Organized - Ability to communicate to staff at all levels - Must be flexible - Able to lift boxes up to 60 pounds. Stand/walk for long periods of time.
