A Telecommunications Technician 3 is responsible for the Installation, Planning, Organizing and Scheduling of communications cabling and equipment to complete assigned work orders, including assigning tasks, assuring the work is being installed in a high-quality manner and performing quality inspections. Responsibilities Monitors task completion, compliance and prevents safety issues in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Oversees a crew of five (5) or more technicians and apprentices. As a technician you should have the work experience installing equipment which involves using hand tools and power tools, a working understanding of Telecom Systems, blueprints and knowledge of codes and standards.
