ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES The duties and responsibilities of the Community Habilitation Specialist will include, but are not limited to the following: Adhere to ethical principles including the Agency's mission statement and the standards of conduct. Provide support to participant in choosing and participating in a variety of meaningful recreational, vocational, and daily living skills activities based on participant desires, parameters of the program, and their individualized Community Habilitation Plan. Assess participants' interests, abilities, strengths and limitations. Follow dietary guidelines as directed in habilitation plan. Provide personal care consistent with participants skill level and as outlined in the habilitation plan (including; bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, laundry, etc.).
