Community Liaison/Security Officer-Float

If you possess the ability to be kind to people just because it feels good to do so, we have a place for you here at the Montreux Homeowners Association (HOA).Don't let the title of Security Officer make you feel as if you will be called upon to be physical with someone.That is NOT what we do.We are a diverse group of employees made up of retired police officers, aestheticians, private business owners and all walks of life.We are entrusted with access control to one of the Reno area's most exclusive, premier communities.The Montreux HOA is situated within the tree line of Mount Rose.Travel just five miles up Mount Rose Highway from the 580 freeway and you will soon find one of the most beautiful, forested communities Reno has to offer! Our team makes sure anyone arriving on the property is supposed to be there.We are looking for customer service professionals with some computer and communication skills.Bilingual in Spanish and English is a definite plus! We are hiring two part-time float officer positions.One position will be Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 7:00am to 3:00 pm.This position will work from either the main gate and/or service gate checking in arriving residents, guests, vendors and service providers throughout the day.The other position will be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.There will be occasions when both these positions will be required to change their shift at short notice to assist in covering other shifts.When this happens, the applicant will be paid an additional dollar per hour.Applicants must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.They must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Applicants must be able to safely walk in extreme snow and icy weather conditions.The applicant must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background check at our expense.The applicant must be able to operate vehicles of varying dimensions (Pickup/ SUV's) in a safe and proficient manner.Montreux employees are also allowed to play golf for free at a championship golf course with some limitations within the community.When part-time employees work a holiday, they are compensated at double time.If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please send us a resume and be ready to tell us why you would like to join our family of residents.Job Type:Part-time Pay:$18.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits:Employee discount Application Question(s):Please indicate which position/work schedule you are interested in.Do you have reliable transportation?
