Job Description
Community Outreach Associate – Immediate Start! Bee Co. Collective works with nationally recognized 501(c)(3) organizations that rely on strong community presence, strategic outreach, and consistent public engagement to grow their impact throughout Houston. The Community Outreach Associate is responsible for bringing those campaigns directly into the community through face-to-face outreach, live events, and public interaction. Instead of generic awareness campaigns, the Community Outreach Associate helps create conversations that feel personal, informed, and aligned with each nonprofit partner’s mission and overall marketing goals. This is a full-time, onsite role centered around community engagement, nonprofit marketing, and direct interaction with local residents throughout Houston. Areas of Training for our Community Outreach Associates: Community outreach and event-based marketing strategies Public speaking and face-to-face communication development Campaign coordination and nonprofit marketing execution Relationship-building techniques designed for community engagement Event setup, outreach organization, and territory awareness Customer interaction and conversational communication strategies Leadership development and team collaboration within outreach-focused marketing campaigns What the Community Outreach Associate handles: Representing nonprofit campaigns at community events, pop-ups, and outreach locations throughout Houston to help secure donations Speaking directly with community members about nonprofit missions, initiatives, and current campaigns Supporting public-facing marketing efforts designed to increase visibility and engagement for each nonprofit partner Helping maintain a professional and consistent marketing presence during live outreach events Answering questions and guide conversations in a way that keeps community members engaged and informed Tracking outreach activity, engagement levels, and campaign interaction throughout assigned events Working alongside other Community Outreach Associates to maintain consistent community outreach and marketing performance Helping strengthen long-term awareness by creating positive interactions connected to each nonprofit brand Qualifications 18+ years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. 0-2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, restaurants, fundraising, outreach, or promotions is helpful but not required Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to keep conversations natural and engaging Someone who works well in team-oriented settings with fast-moving outreach activity Interest in nonprofit outreach, community engagement, and marketing strategy Ability to stay organized while balancing events, conversations, and campaign activity Entry level candidates are encouraged to apply – full training is provided for all Community Outreach Associate team members!
