Job Description
Become a part of our caring community As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will build key relationships with local individuals and organizations in The Villages® and surrounding communities to increase new patient numbers in our care centers. Location : CenterWell Senior Primary Care office address: 6503 Powell Road, The Villages, FL 32163 Community Outreach Specialist Role Overview: Promote services by partnering with the community. Manage presence at ongoing community events, including recurring lifestyle expo, market nights, VHA, and other community events. Ensure all events are properly staffed and have appropriate materials, equipment, and resources. Participate in a minimum of three events per month or 36 events per year. Engage in events with agent partners with the goal to create awareness and leads. Plan all aspects of marketing/sales events, plus agent events with a focus on good ROI. Organize activities, including sales events, to enhance presence in the community. Acts as liaison with community advocacy groups and other organizations that impact target population. Identify, develop, and build relationships with community organizations, provider offices and faith-based organizations. Create referrals generated as a result of our community relationships. Be responsible for developing new contacts and maintaining existing relationships or partnerships in the community. Document and manage community contacts and sales events in a database. Assist members and potential members with inquiries. Give presentations to small and large groups of people. Monitor and report on lead generation, conversion rates and ROI of various events and activities. Attend weekly marketing meetings and contribute to team goals. Use your skills to make an impact Additional Information Required High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years of experience in healthcare marketing, event management, or community relations role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, & Excel), web-based applications, CRM software, and use of the internet. Preferred Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Community Development experience. Experience and knowledge of The Villages and community. Multi-specialty care experience. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicare Advantage insurance.
