Actual compensation, if an offer is made, will depend on factors such as skills, experience, education, and overall qualifications Mercy Flights is hiring for a community Paramedic (MIH) Position Summary The Mobile Integrated Healthcare (MIH) Paramedic works as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide proactive, post-hospital, and community-based care in non-traditional settings. This role focuses on continuity of care through in-home visits, patient assessments, clinical and social screenings, patient education, and coordination with healthcare and community partners. The MIH Paramedic functions independently while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and community agencies to improve patient outcomes and reduce unnecessary emergency department utilization. Work Environment & Schedule Non-traditional care settings including patient homes and community locations Shift work includes seven 12-hour shifts in a two-week period Required Qualifications Education Associate degree in Paramedicine or equivalent education required for Oregon Paramedic licensure Bachelors degree in health, human services, or related field preferred Experience Minimum of two (2) years as a Paramedic/EMT-Intermediate on a 911 transporting ambulance or equivalent community health experience Behavioral or mental health experience preferred Licenses & Certifications Valid Oregon Paramedic License or/ EMT-Intermediate License and National Registry Paramedic certification Valid Oregon Drivers License BLS, ACLS, and PALS or PEPP certificati
