Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Company Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of commercial vehicles to transport goods efficiently and securely across designated routes. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other specialized vehicles. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition, report any issues promptly, and maintain accurate logs of mileage and cargo. Manage delivery schedules by planning optimal routes for timely arrivals while accommodating traffic conditions and delivery priorities. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any logistical challenges. Maintain a clean driving record and uphold safety standards at all times during operations. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a focus on freight delivery across various vehicle types such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or dump trucks. Strong knowledge of route driving techniques combined with excellent driving skills in manual transmission vehicles. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklift or manual methods as required. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety protocols to ensure compliance at all times. Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries. Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform load securement tasks confidently.
