Click here to see an inside look at the Texas Comptroller’s office About The Division: The Treasury Operations division is the center of financial operations for the state, managing the daily movement of over 200,000 transactions across more than 400 bank accounts. Treasury Operations receives and processes deposits for all state agencies, pays all state disbursements, reconciles state bank accounts and accounts for all state agency cash and interest earnings. The division efficiently ensures the safety and control of the state's treasury, which is approximately a $65 billion pool of funds, and positions them for optimal investment returns. Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week with occasional evening, weekend hours and holidays. Hours may change based on business needs. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year college with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or business-related field. Experience: Eight (8) years with program/project management experience at a Texas state agency. Four (4) years’ experience with budget, accounting, and/or personnel processes. Preferred Experience: Certification in accounting, finance, cash management, or human resources field as a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CTP Legislative analysis experience. Progressively responsible experience in systems security administration PeopleSoft security administration (roles, permission lists, row-level security).
