Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Qualifications & Skills Current certification and registration as a CT Technologist (ARRT CT) Demonstrated proficiency in computed tomography techniques and protocols Active BLS certification required Solid understanding of radiation safety procedures and best practices Strong attention to detail with excellent patient care and communication skills Prior experience working in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred Schedule/Hours Flexible scheduling, including possible evening or weekend shifts depending on department needs Key Responsibilities Operate CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with physician orders Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure Verify patient identification and medical histories, explaining processes and answering questions to minimize anxiety Work collaboratively with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure accurate interpretation and timely delivery of results Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance checks on imaging equipment Adhere strictly to established protocols for infection control and patient confidentiality Document and report any unusual findings, incidents, or equipment malfunctions promptly As part of a supportive clinical team, you will have opportunities to enhance your imaging skills, contribute to quality patient outcomes, and work with state-of-the-art technology.
