Job Title : Computer assembler Location: Chandler AZ Shift: 6am - 2:30pm - 1:30pm - 10:00pm [Hourly Pay Range – $19- $20 Employment Type: Temp to hire Schedule: M-F Job Summary: Computer Assembler / Computer Technician Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Computer Assembler / Computer Technician to join our warehouse and production team. This position is responsible for assembling, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, servers, and related hardware components in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with computer hardware, hand tools, and warehouse processes while maintaining high quality and productivity standards. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Assemble computer systems, servers, and electronic components according to work instructions Install hardware components such as motherboards, RAM, hard drives, power supplies, and cables Configure operating systems, software, and peripherals Perform testing and quality checks on completed units Troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues Diagnose defective components and replace parts as needed Read and follow build sheets, work orders, and technical documentation Use RF scanners, computers, and inventory systems to track production Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, testing, and completed work Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) safety procedures and company standards Maintain a clean and organized work area Support warehouse operations and assist with additional duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in computer assembly, electronics, IT hardware, or technical repair preferred Basic knowledge of computer components and troubleshooting Experience using hand and power tools Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment Basic computer skills and data entry experience Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Experience with RFID scanners or warehouse management systems is a plus Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends during peak business periods Work Environment Warehouse and production floor environment Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and electronic components ESD-safe environment requiring proper grounding procedures Equal Opportunity Employer We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity in the workplace.
