Salary: $52,880.00 - $73,949.00 Annually Location : 16000 East CentreTech Parkway Aurora, CO Job Type: Faculty Job Number: 300420 Division: Instruction Opening Date: 01/05/2026 POSITION SUMMARY The Community College of Aurora invites applications for a Computer Science Faculty position in the Department of Engineering & Computing, with primary teaching responsibilities in Computer Science/Programming and secondary teaching responsibilities in Networking, Cybersecurity, and/or Cloud Computing. The successful candidate will have a passion for student success as well as high quality, effective, engaging, inclusive, and student-centered instruction. The Engineering & Computing Department is committed to quality instruction through high academic standards, high student support, and a strong commitment to student engagement and success. Faculty in this position will utilize this framework to make complex concepts accessible to students just entering the field as well as students nearing graduation and transfer. Faculty duties include teaching and service as guided by SP 3-31. Teaching responsibilities include coordination, planning, preparation, presentation, and evaluation of classroom instruction and related activities. Teaching responsibilities are aligned with individual, department, and college goals. Service can include, but is not limited to, curriculum coordination and development, advising and outreach, system, college-wide and campus committee work, sponsoring and participating in student activities, and attendance at college activities and events.
