Job Title : Computer Tech Location: Chandler Az Shift: 1:30pm - 10:00pm $19.00 - $20.00 Employment Type: Temp to hire Schedule: M-F Job Summary: Computer Technician / PC Build Technician Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Computer Technician to join our team supporting the assembly, configuration, and testing of computer systems and servers. This position is ideal for candidates with experience building computers from the ground up, installing hardware components, troubleshooting systems, and working in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hardware knowledge, be comfortable working with PC components and servers, and understand how to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. Responsibilities Build and configure desktop computers and servers from the chassis/shell up Install and integrate hardware components including motherboards, CPUs, RAM, power supplies, hard drives/SSDs, GPUs, and peripheral devices Configure operating systems, drivers, firmware, and software applications Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to identify malfunctions and resolve system failures Perform diagnostics, testing, and quality checks on completed systems and servers Replace defective components and document repairs or updates accurately Follow build instructions, production schedules, and quality standards Assist with server assembly, upgrades, and configuration processes Maintain a clean and organized workstation while following ESD and safety procedures Participate in process improvement initiatives and support operational goals Work collaboratively with team members, leads, and other departments as needed Qualifications Experience building or repairing computers and/or servers Knowledge of PC hardware components and system integration Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral devices Ability to use hand tools and work with electronic components safely Basic understanding of operating systems and computer imaging/configuration Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions Ability to work independently and within a team environment Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience is a plus A+ Certification or related technical certification is a plus Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Overtime may be required based on business needs Some positions may require travel Preferred Experience PC assembly or computer repair experience Server build or server hardware experience Experience working with RFID scanners, inventory systems, or warehouse technology environments is a plus Familiarity with quality control and documentation processes preferred #ICOM Benefits: Eastridge Workforce Solutions offers the following benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements .
