Concrete Batch Plant Operator / QC Technician

Abilene Readymix – Abilene, TX Abilene Readymix is seeking an experienced, dependable Batch Plant Operator / QC Technician to operate and manage a 2024 Cemco mobile concrete plant in Abilene, Texas. We are looking for someone who understands concrete production, moisture control, slump, air, mix consistency, and overall quality control — not someone that needs constant supervision. Responsibilities Operate and manage concrete batch plant production Monitor moisture, slump, air, and mix consistency Perform daily QC testing and batch documentation Coordinate with drivers, dispatch, and management Troubleshoot plant and production issues Maintain consistent, high-quality concrete production Preferred Experience Concrete batch plant operation QC/testing experience Knowledge of admixtures and moisture adjustments High-production paving or commercial concrete experience preferred ACI certification is a plus What We Offer High compensation based on experience and ability Overtime available Long-term steady work Housing/per diem negotiable for the right candidate Possible truck allowance/company vehicle Modern 2024 Cemco equipment Growing operation with advancement opportunity Looking for a real concrete professional that takes pride in production, consistency, and quality.
