About Us EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) is the corporate entity established to oversee a collective group of companies that provide vertically integrated engineered solutions to the Canadian and the U.S.construction marketplace.At EKHO Infrastructure Solutions, our people are the cornerstone of our success.With a diverse team of over 400 professionals across North America, we foster a culture that celebrates individual strengths and encourages collaboration.Each of our companies maintains its unique identity, yet together, we share a unified vision:to create opportunities and find synergies across our business portfolio to help build smarter infrastructure.Our commitment to innovation is driven by the collective expertise and passion of our team, making EKHO not just a workplace, but a community dedicated to shaping the future of construction Position Summary Based at the manufacturing plants, the Batcher will report to the onsite QC Manager.They will be responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of ensuring batch mixes are completed to keep the production line in full operation and for reporting any issues in a timely fashion so they can be corrected.Key Responsibilities Complies with and actively promotes all company Health & Safety rules.Immediately reports safety deficiencies or hazards to ensure timely correction.Adheres to all company procedures and work instructions for batching and mixing operations.Ensures proper tools are used for inspection and reports non-conformances to the Quality Department.Maintains accountability for product quality.Mixes and batches product to prescribed standards.Monitors aggregate bins, admixture tanks, and temperatures; orders/reports supply needs through the Production Supervisor/ Manager and or QC Manager.Completes and submits all required shift documentation.Reports on maintenance issues promptly to the Production Supervisor/ Manager and or QC Manager.Cleans mixers, buckets, and related equipment at the end of each shift.Trains and supports other employees as needed Operates forklift to deliver product as required.Maintains batching/mixing areas, conveyors, hoppers, pits, and related equipment in a clean and orderly condition, including daily pit cleaning and water pump-outs.Ensures all tools are returned to proper locations after use.Performs other duties as assigned by the QC Manager What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent; 1-3 months related experience preferred Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Professionalism, adaptability, and a positive attitude in a dynamic work setting Certifications:ACI Grade 1 and NPCA Level 1 preferred (not required).Additional state-specific certifications may be required; company covers all related costs.Working Environment This position operates within a manufacturing facility.The environment is fast-paced and production-oriented, with exposure to dust, heavy machinery, moving equipment, and varying noise levels (moderate to high).The role may require standing and walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, and lifting materials or tools (up to 50 lbs.).Proper use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, steel-toed/metatarsal boots, and high-visibility clothing is required at all times.Work may take place indoors and outdoors, subject to seasonal weather conditions.Why Join Us?
