Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming freshly poured concrete into smooth, durable surfaces that meet project specifications and quality standards. Your expertise will ensure that concrete structures are finished with precision, safety, and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in concrete finishing and related trades. Responsibilities Apply finishing techniques to concrete surfaces using hand tools and power tools, ensuring a smooth, level, and aesthetically pleasing finish. Set forms and rebar in accordance with blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Install rebar reinforcement and perform related tasks such as metal stud framing and masonry work to strengthen concrete structures. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately. Perform additional tasks such as caulking, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration work as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship. Skills Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and machinery used in concrete finishing and construction. Construction estimating skills for planning materials and labor needs effectively. Experience with rebar installation, form setting, and concrete forming techniques. Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumps. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to construction projects. Knowledge of various trades including plastering, roofing, carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry, welding, tile laying, flooring installation, and stucco application. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail on complex renovation or restoration projects. Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment when required.
