Job OverviewJoin our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and play a vital role in transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete structures.This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new builds, where your hands-on skills and attention to detail will shine.As a key team member, you'll be responsible for preparing, finishing, and maintaining concrete surfaces with precision and efficiency, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality and safety.Duties Assist in the preparation of concrete forms, rebar installation, and setting up scaffolding or framing for concrete pours.Operate hand tools and power tools to smooth, level, and finish concrete surfaces including floors, walls, and sidewalks.Mix concrete using portable mixers or operate concrete pumping equipment to ensure proper consistency for pouring.Apply finishing techniques such as troweling, floating, and caulking to achieve smooth surfaces aligned with project specifications.Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate placement of concrete elements.Support rebar installation, masonry work, stucco application, and other related tasks during renovation or new construction projects.Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining a clean and organized work site.Experience Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete finishing or related masonry work is highly preferred.Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints or schematics.Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as mixers, pumps, or scaffolding setup is advantageous.Hands-on experience with a variety of hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in concrete finishing.Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and ability to perform heavy lifting safely.Experience in related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), roofing, metal stud framing, or restoration projects will be considered a plus.Ability to communicate effectively on-site and follow detailed instructions accurately.Join us in building lasting structures by applying your skills in a fast-paced environment that values energetic teamwork and craftsmanship!
