Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Concrete Finisher Laborer and play a vital role in transforming blueprints into durable, high-quality concrete structures. As a key team member, you'll be instrumental in ensuring concrete surfaces are finished to perfection, contributing to the safety, longevity, and aesthetic appeal of each project. Responsibilities Prepare and set up forms, rebar, and reinforcement materials according to blueprints and schematics for concrete placement. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and pumps to pour, spread, and level concrete. Finish concrete surfaces using trowels, floats, and other finishing tools to achieve smoothness and desired textures. Install rebar and metal studs securely in accordance with construction plans to reinforce concrete structures. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of tasks. Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while maintaining efficiency on the job site. Assist with related tasks such as caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, masonry work, or roofing as needed for comprehensive project completion. Experience Prior construction site experience with a focus on concrete finishing or related trades such as carpentry or masonry. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read blueprints or schematics accurately. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including concrete pumps or mixers is preferred. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, form setting, plastering, restoration work, or metal stud framing is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions. Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and the use of hand tools and power tools. Certification or experience in welding, flooring installation, tile laying or roofing is a plus but not required.
