Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Finisher to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure they meet high-quality standards and project specifications. Your expertise will help bring construction projects to life, from foundations to decorative hardscapes, contributing to the durability and aesthetic appeal of various structures. Duties Prepare concrete surfaces by leveling, smoothing, and finishing using hand tools and power tools such as trowels, floats, and screeds. Install rebar and metal mesh reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics to strengthen concrete structures. Operate heavy equipment including concrete mixers, pumps, and other machinery essential for mixing and pouring concrete efficiently. Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise finishing work aligned with project plans. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while handling materials like concrete bags, rebar, or formwork components on-site. Assist with concrete forming and framing activities; coordinate accurate form installation in renovation or new construction projects. Conduct quality checks throughout the process to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and client expectations. Support restoration projects by applying masonry skills or metal stud framing as needed for structural repairs or upgrades. Operate heavy equipment responsibly during site preparation or demolition phases; maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete finishing; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge of tools such as hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, and scaffolding equipment. Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming techniques, Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in finishing tasks. Skilled in using schematics/ AI blueprints and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately. Experience operating heavy machinery including concrete pumps or mixers; commercial driving license is a plus. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction site operations; ability to work effectively in renovation or restoration environments. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members Physical stamina required for long hours on-site; ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity with hand tools and power tools.
