Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team.In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting with various concrete-related tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to building durable structures and beautiful hardscape features.This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in concrete work while working alongside experienced professionals committed to excellence.Duties Assist with the preparation and layout of concrete forms using blueprint reading and schematics.Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and forklifts to facilitate pouring and finishing concrete.Mix, pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces for sidewalks, driveways, foundations, and other structures.Install rebar reinforcement according to specifications to ensure structural integrity.Perform rebar installation, metal stud framing, and masonry work as needed for various projects.Apply finishing techniques including troweling, caulking, stucco application, and flooring installation to achieve smooth surfaces.Support with demolition, restoration, renovation tasks, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment.Requirements Proven experience working on construction sites with knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and related trades such as carpentry or masonry.Mechanical knowledge of construction tools and equipment operation including concrete mixers, power tools, heavy lifting gear, and heavy equipment operation.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.Familiarity with safety protocols related to construction sites and concrete work practices.Valid driver's license with commercial driving certification preferred for operating larger machinery or transporting materials.Prior experience with renovation projects or commercial construction is a plus; enthusiasm for learning new skills is highly valued.Join our team if you're ready to build strong foundations--literally!
