POSITION SUMMARY The Configuration Data Manager (CDM) ELEX will provide configuration management, maintenance analysis, logistics, and technical data management support for Electronics (ELEX) equipment and systems aboard U.S. Coast Guard cutters. The role supports the IBCTPL fleet by maintaining accurate configuration and maintenance data within FLS-MAM and other USCG repositories. DUTIES Transform and update ELEX Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs) in FLS-MAM and other applicable repositories. Build Configuration Management (CM) sets in support of ELEX Engineering Changes. Process and logically file Standard Configuration Change Forms, including SFLC-ESD-47 series forms or equivalents. Update Configuration Items (CIs) for ELEX equipment and test equipment. Deploy ELEX maintenance items to the IBCT fleet. Research, update, and verify ELEX configuration data in FLS-MAM and USCG configuration databases. Create Maintenance Standards (MS) following ELEX MPC publication release. Validate Allowance Parts List (APL) data associated with ELEX MPCs. Review Electronics Integrated Logistics Support data for accuracy and completeness. Validate maintenance sections of ELEX Engineering Change drafts. Collect and update configuration data in accordance with the current USCG SFLC Engineering Change process guide. Identify data inconsistencies, recommend corrective actions, and support process improvements related to ELEX configuration and maintenance data. Contribute to required deliverables, reports, tracking tools, and performance metrics where applicable. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 to 10 years of relevant experience supporting configuration management, maintenance analysis, logistics support, technical data management, electronics systems, fleet maintenance, or asset management systems. Experience reviewing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation, engineering change data, maintenance records, or configuration information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using databases, maintenance systems, logistics systems, or asset management tools. Strong attention to detail, organization, and data accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication skills. EDUCATION High school diploma or GED. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, engineering technology, logistics, maintenance management, information systems, or a related discipline. Experience supporting USCG, Navy, DoW, or federal logistics programs. Familiarity with FLS-MAM, MPCs, Maintenance Standards, APLs, Engineering Changes, or SFLC configuration processes. Experience with shipboard electronics systems or ELEX equipment. Substitution: Additional relevant experience may be substituted for preferred education.
