Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Conservator to join our dynamic team dedicated to preserving and safeguarding bridal and vintage gowns.As a Conservator, you will play a vital role in the care, and management of bridal attire.Your expertise will ensure the longevity of the textile through meticulous conservation practices and preservation techniques.Responsibilities Conduct detailed assessments of the collected items to determine conservation needs and develop tailored treatment.Perform hands-on conservation treatments, including advising on cleaning, repair, and preservation the items.Manage and detail within our databases any information related to collections.Collaborate with the cleaning and preservation department.Maintain detailed documentation of all conservation procedures, conditions of the item and consult with the client via email or call.Skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask while adhering to deadlines.Research capabilities combined with teaching skills to share knowledge with colleagues and our clientele.Outstanding writing skills for preparing detailed reports within our data base and to share with our clientelle.Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.Pay:$33.00 - $36.00 per hour Benefits:401(k) Paid time off Work Location:In person.
