Online Consignment & Estate Sales Specialist Healthy Commission-Based Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated Online Consignment & Estate Sales Specialist to manage the photography, listing, marketing, negotiation, and sale of a large inventory of quality estate, household, commercial, and specialty items. This position is ideal for someone with experience in online resale, estate liquidation, consignment sales, auctions, or marketplace selling who understands how to maximize value through strategic marketing and proper placement across multiple sales channels. Inventory Categories Include Quality furniture & office furnishings Restaurant equipment & commercial smallwares Automotive & motorcycle parts/accessories Fishing & marine equipment Lighting, décor, artwork, and custom frames General household and estate items Responsibilities: Photograph and create professional online listings Research pricing and determine the best sales strategy for each item Post inventory on platforms such as: Facebook Marketplace eBay Auction and consignment sites Trade/category-specific marketplaces Negotiate with buyers professionally and effectively Coordinate individual, lot, wholesale, or bulk sales when appropriate Manage inventory listings and communications efficiently Move inventory strategically while protecting value and maximizing returns Qualifications: Experience with online resale, estate sales, consignment, auctions, or liquidation Strong product photography and listing skills Familiarity with online marketplaces and specialty selling platforms Strong communication and negotiation abilities Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently Ability to identify the appropriate sales channel for different categories of inventory About the Inventory: Most inventory originates from a well-maintained estate storage collection and includes quality household items, commercial equipment, furnishings, décor, and specialty goods. The majority of items are in very good to like-new condition and have been carefully stored, preserved, and maintained. We are seeking someone who understands how to properly position and market quality inventory to the appropriate buyers and sales channels. The objective is to maximize value and achieve strong returns through strategic sales efforts — not operate as a liquidation or “quick clearance” sale. Compensation Healthy commission-based compensation, can also add some hourly and reimbursement structure to be discussed during interview.
