Construction Accounts Payable

Job Title:Accounts Payable SpecialistIndustry:Construction Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist with experience in the construction industry to support our accounting team.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong accuracy, organization, and attention-to-detail skills while managing vendor invoices and maintaining precise financial records.Key Responsibilities Review and process vendor invoices and credit card charges accurately and in a timely manner Match purchase orders to invoices; identify, research, and resolve discrepancies prior to processing Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records Research and resolve outstanding account balances through communication with vendors via phone, email, or mail Respond to inquiries from outside vendors professionally and efficiently Set up new vendors and maintain or update existing vendor information Provide accounting support and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications & Experience Previous accounts payable experience in the construction industry required Experience with Sage 100 Construction (preferred but not required) Intercompany accounting experience preferred Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with vendors and internal teams Additional InformationThis job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.It is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required.Pay:$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Experience:construction accounts payable:2 years (Required) Work Location:In person.
