Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Estimator and Sales professional to join our team. This role combines the critical responsibilities of accurately estimating project costs and actively driving sales opportunities within the construction industry. You will play a pivotal role in securing new business, developing client relationships, and delivering precise project bids that align with company standards and client expectations. Duties Prepare comprehensive construction estimates by analyzing project plans, specifications, and site conditions using industry-standard tools. Develop accurate cost projections for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to ensure competitive yet profitable bids. Lead negotiations with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing while maintaining strong professional relationships. Collaborate closely with project management teams to understand project scope, schedule, and constraints to produce reliable estimates. Assist in contract review and development, ensuring all terms align with project requirements and company policies. Support project managers during the bidding process by providing detailed cost analysis and risk assessments. Engage actively in sales efforts by identifying new opportunities, presenting proposals confidently, and following up to close deals effectively. Skills Proficiency with construction estimating software is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing, contracts, and terms that benefit both the client and company. Solid understanding of construction processes, site operations, and project management principles within the construction industry. Excellent knowledge of cost control techniques, pricing strategies, and budget management for construction projects. Hands-on construction site experience to accurately assess project complexities and challenges. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, contracts, and legal documents related to construction projects.
