Position Summary: Glaziers work in the field on-site erecting unitized and stick system curtain walls, panels, storefronts, and strip windows by anchoring frames plumb, level, and square to building structure. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position reporting to a field superintendent. Typical Monday-Friday schedule (overtime and occasional weekends based on project schedules). Prepares sill pans and frames for glass Applies caulking and other adhesives Installs anchors and panels Sets frames, glass, and units Installs break metal and flashing Installs mirrors as appropriate Other tasks or duties as assigned by the Site Superintendent or Project Manager Basic Requirements: Reliable Transportation and Valid Driver’s License Authorized to Work in the U.S. Ability to walk, bend, twist, climb, turn head/torso, crawl, reach, flex arms and legs, and lift/carry up to 75 pounds as needed Ability to read tape measure accurately and perform basic construction math Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and ability to work at heights/elevated surfaces Employee supplies own hand tools and basic battery-operated Drill and Driver set Ability to understand and communicate in English sufficiently to follow safety instructions and perform job duties Experiences and Qualities: Prior glazing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates who have strong carpentry skills and/or construction backgrounds may also be considered.
