Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new build sites, utilizing your hands-on skills and enthusiasm for construction. As a Construction Laborer, you'll contribute to building high-quality structures while gaining valuable experience across various trades. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to support framing, masonry, roofing, and other trades Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently to aid in concrete finishing, formwork, or installation tasks Support rebar installation, metal stud framing, drywall work, and plastering activities Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks Help with concrete mixing, pumping, pouring, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces Conduct site clean-up, debris removal, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times Skills Mechanical knowledge for operating heavy equipment and power tools effectively Strong understanding of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, and concrete finishing techniques Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns Knowledge of masonry work including tile laying, stucco application, and restoration projects Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper body mechanics Familiarity with schematics for metal stud framing, carpentry (trim carpentry), roofing, and framing work Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is a plus Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience with commercial driving preferred Ability to read construction schematics and technical drawings accurately Skills in welding or metal fabrication are advantageous but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills help shape the future!
