Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential manual tasks, operating equipment, and assisting with various phases of construction projects. Your hands-on contributions will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Paid positions are available for all applicants, including those seeking entry-level experience. Duties Assist with heavy lifting and moving materials around the construction site to keep workflows smooth and efficient Operate power tools and hand tools safely to support carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other trades Prepare and set up construction sites by installing formwork, rebar (reinforcing steel), or scaffolding as needed Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping concrete to meet project specifications Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to assist tradespeople in executing precise work Perform demolition, renovation, restoration, or new construction tasks across various project types Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris, organizing materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate tools and equipment effectively Experience with construction estimating processes is a plus for understanding project scope Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing, and concrete pumping techniques Knowledge of heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes enhances versatility on site Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, stucco application, plastering, and trim carpentry Familiarity with metal stud framing, drywall installation (including caulking), roofing techniques, and heavy lifting requirements Experience with commercial driving for material transport or site access is advantageous Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction site operations Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout the workday Join us in building exceptional structures while developing your skills in a vibrant team environment!
