Construction Pricing Associate

OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate to join our dynamic team.The ideal candidate will possess strong estimating skills and a solid understanding of the construction industry.This role will involve working with various stakeholders and enhance operational efficiency.The Associate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate estimates / proposals, contributing to the overall success of our organization.Duties & Responsibilities:Attend job walks, pre-bid, and scope clarifications meetings with clients to assess site conditions, scope of work, and project requirements.Prepare, review, and submit proposals and bids to clients in a clear, professional and timely manner.Analyze blueprints and other documents to prepare complete estimates that include prep time, material, and labor.After training (if needed), use Xactimate to create accurate estimates, pricing breakdowns, and documentation Develop, build and nurture relationships with clients, vendors, other gc's and sub contractors.Ensure accuracy of project conditions, terms and warranties for proposals.Collaborate with team members in various departments to meet specific projects needs.Prepare detailed listing of material and equipment for the estimate and to obtain quotes.Communicate with project managers to explain project specifications and instructions.Qualifications:Some experience in the various fields of construction and or building maintenance Some experience in estimating residential and commercial projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Bi-lingual in English and Spanish College Degree in Construction Management, or related field, preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, preferred Experience with estimating software, Xactimate preferred Job Type:Full-time Pay:$60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k) 401(k) matching Commuter assistance Health insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:On the road.
