Construction Manager / Operations Lead Blackline Builders | Utah Blackline Builders is launching as the construction arm of an established local architecture firm. With a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects, we’re expanding into design-build and looking for the right person to help us grow . What You’ll Do Lead construction projects from preconstruction through completion Collaborate closely with the design team in a design-build environment Develop and manage budgets, schedules, and scopes of work Manage subcontractors, vendors, and day-to-day site operations Maintain a strong on-site presence to ensure quality and progress Help build internal systems (Procore, estimating templates, workflows) Play a key role in shaping the construction side of the business What We’re Looking For 5–10+ years of construction experience (residential and/or commercial) Experience managing projects in the $500K–$5M range Strong understanding of estimating, scheduling, and field execution Ability to operate independently and take ownership Strong communication and leadership skills Bonus: Experience with high-end residential or design-build projects Who This Is Perfect For A Project Manager or Superintendent ready to step into a leadership role Someone who wants more ownership and less corporate structure Someone excited about helping build a company, not just work for one Why Join Blackline Builders Ground-floor opportunity with strong project pipeline Direct collaboration with an established design team Ability to shape systems, processes, and team growth Clear path to leadership as the company scales Competitive compensation with performance upside Compensation Salary: $85,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience) Performance-based bonuses tied to project success Long-term growth opportunity as the company expands
