What you will do Under general supervision of the Project Owner, the Site Project Manager serves as the on‑site representative responsible for the execution of assigned Security projects. This role oversees the entire construction effort to ensure timely completion within the defined scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining project integrity, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Site Project Manager supervises all on‑site activities for Johnson Controls and coordinates Johnson Controls’ work with customers, contractors, and other site stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. This position requires extended deployment, typically ranging from 6 to 18 months with the ability to remain on site for the duration of the assignment. How you will do it Serve as the on‑site project manager for assigned Security projects, planning, executing, and completing projects in accordance with contractual requirements. Collaborate with the Major Projects team and assigned Project Manager to align project objectives with scope, budget, schedule, and resource plans. Coordinate daily communication with the Project Manager, customer, subcontractors, and other site contractors. Perform daily site inspections to ensure quality, safety compliance, project integrity, and customer satisfaction. Ensure execution of work aligns with Johnson Controls standards, policies, and contractual obligations. Submit regular progress updates and field reports for integration into the master project schedule, including variance analysis. Address site conflicts related to work sequencing, labor coordination, and unforeseen conditions. Support risk management activities and assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing recovery plans when required. Ensure project documentation and controls comply with contract requirements and Johnson Controls policies. Communicate expectations clearly to subcontractors and ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain project schedules. May serve as the on‑site safety program coordinator and/or QA/QC lead. Participate in project meetings, including scheduling, coordination, commissioning, and closeout activities. Coordinate with Regional and Branch Leadership through the assigned Major Projects Project Manager to ensure adequate resources and support.
