Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee complex residential and commercial reconstruction projects from inception to completion. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of reconstruction projects resulting from insurance claims (fire, water, storm damage, etc), ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate project activities with insurance adjusters, estimators, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and workflow. Review scopes of work, estimates and budgets to ensure accuracy and profitability. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining rigorous documentation for all project phases. Oversee construction site activities to ensure safety protocols are followed and work is performed according to industry standards. Utilize construction estimating tools like Xactimate for accurate cost forecasting and resource allocation. Employ construction management for daily reporting, document control, and project tracking. Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, quality control. Facilitate effective project coordination through clear communication of expectations, timelines, and deliverables among all stakeholders. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects; site experience is highly valued. Proficiency with Xactimate estimating program Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Solid understanding of contracts, procurement processes, and cost control measures within the construction industry. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on construction sites to promote a secure work environment.
