Job Title: Construction Quality Control Manager Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee a 5-year IDIQ construction contract valued at $27.5 million. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects at FLETC in Charleston, SC. Responsibilities Manage and oversee quality control on construction projects, ensuring compliance with Federal administrative construction processes. Coordinate closely with three government representatives to ensure project specifications are met. Possess a deep understanding and working knowledge in trades and disciplines including architectural work, carpentry, structural, earthwork, and utilities. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including USACE EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 1926, focusing on hazard identification, safety compliance, and sustainability. Demonstrate experience in managing similar construction contracts, particularly those comparable in cost, type, and complexity. Essential Skills Minimum high school education. At least ten years of combined experience in construction management roles, with five years specifically as a Quality Control Manager on U.S. Military or Federal agency contracts. Extensive experience with Federal construction processes. Completion of the 'Construction Quality Management for Contractors' course or willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of award. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with safety requirements and standards including USACE EM 385-1-1 and OSHA 1926. Experience with hazard identification and safety compliance. Work Environment This position is based on-site at FLETC in Charleston, SC. The role involves working closely with government representatives on various construction projects, requiring a strong collaborative approach. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Charleston, SC. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
