Construction Site Expeditor for Insulation/Drywall Trade Truax & Hovey, Ltd.We are looking for a skilled Construction Expeditor to facilitate the smooth completion of a Residential Student Housing Project in Vestal, NY Candidate will ensure adequate & timely flow of insulation & drywall materials portion of this project, ensure timely flow of all site paperwork, timecards, invoices, toolbox safely talks, job progress schedules between site superintendent & main office. Work with Project Supervisor to determine supply needs to meet schedule. Manage the orders of materials & equipment to meet project requirements. Ensure timely delivery of supplies according to priorities & specifications. Resolve problems to speed up delivery. Inspect orders upon arrival to ensure correct quantity and quality. Maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors. Keep accurate records. Proven experience as construction expeditor or relevant position. Ability to understand technical specifications of material & equipment. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Well organized with multi - tasking abilities.
